One of my first paintings kept by my parents.
Mother Mary & Baby Jesus
Age 8
I was introduced to the world of art by my mother, a very talented oil painter.
I watched her paintings come to life and was fascinated. She took me to my very first Art Show at the age of 4, when we lived on a military base near Chicago, IL.
It wasn't until I was in my 40's that I found out that painting with brushes and doing "structured" work was not for me.
My paintings are done with my bare hands and I use brushes only for finishing out a piece.
Bold, vibrant colors speak to my soul.
